Bondi Reveals Inquiry into President's Opponents and Jeffrey Epstein Connections

This past Friday, Pam Bondi designated interim US attorney Jay Clayton to oversee an investigation into opponents of the President and their links with the late financier. This decision came shortly after the president directed her to begin the probe.

In a statement, the Attorney General highlighted Jay Clayton as “among the nation’s top prosecutors”. She stated, “As with all matters, the department will pursue this with urgency and integrity to deliver answers to the American people.”

This action appears to contradict a July memo from federal authorities which declared that the Epstein files did not warrant additional investigations. As per the document, investigators “found no proof justifying probes into uncharged individuals”
